Background: Nursing education relies on various pedagogical approaches, such as team-based and interactive learning, to foster crucial competencies essential for clinical practice. Problem-based learning (PBL) and simulation-based education are commonly employed to bolster student communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Methods: This study was conducted from March to June 2023 and utilized a one-group pretest-posttest design involving 122 third-year nursing students undergoing team-based simulation education. Pre- and post-educational assessments of nunchi, communication skills, and study crafting were conducted and compared. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Cronbach’s alpha coefficients, and paired t-tests.
Results: Following participation in team-based simulation education, significant improvements were observed in Nunchi (t=-4.705, p〈.001), communication skills (t=-3.390, p〈.001), and study crafting (t=-3.390, p〈.001) among the subjects.
Conclusion: These results underscore the importance of expanding simulation education initiatives to enhance nursing students’ nunchi, communication, and study crafting skills. The use of diverse educational media in simulation-based training is recommended. Further studies are necessary to validate the efficacy of team-based simulation education in Nunchi on communication skills and study crafting.*표시는 필수 입력사항입니다.
