唐나라 吳兢이 편찬한 『貞觀政要』는 高麗時代에 국내로 유입되었는데, 睿宗과 仁宗의 명으로 註解 작업이 진행되었고, 朝鮮朝에 이르러서도 다시 端宗의 명으로 註解 작업이 진행되었다. 이로 보아 『정관정요』가 우리나라에서 帝王學의 교재로 중요하게 활용되었음을 알 수 있다.

현재 高麗朝에서 이루어진 註解書는 전해지지 않으며, 朝鮮朝에 이루어진 註解書는 국립중앙도서관에 『貞觀政要註解』 零本 1冊이 남아 있을 뿐이다.

필자는 『정관정요』의 註解와 관련된 기록 및 書目 등에 의거하여 국내외 도서관에서 『貞觀政要註解』를 소장한 곳이 있는지 추적 조사하였다.

그 결과 朝鮮朝에 간행된 『貞觀政要註解』 完帙本 2종을 일본에서 새롭게 발굴하여 확인할 수 있었다. 이에 『정관정요주해』 완질본의 편찬 경위 및 체재를 살펴보고 그 가치에 대해 고찰하였다.

Jeonggwanjeongyo, compiled by Wu Jing of the Tang Dynasty, was introduced into Korea during the Goryeo Dynasty, and the annotation work was carried out under the king's order, and in the Joseon Dynasty, the annotation work was carried out again under the king's order. From this, it can be seen that Jeonggwanjeongyo was used as an important textbook for the study of kings in Korea.

Currently, the written version made in the Goryeo Dynasty has not been passed down, and only one copy of the written version made in the Joseon Dynasty remains in the National Library of Korea.

Based on related records and books, the author conducted a follow-up investigation to see if there were any libraries at home and abroad that possessed Jeongguanjeonyojuhae. As a result, two types of Jeongguanjeonyojuhae Complete Book published in the Joseon Dynasty were newly discovered and confirmed in Japan. Accordingly, the compilation process and format of the complete version of Jeongguanjeonyojuhae were examined and its value was considered.
