This study focused on the loanwords 블랙(ブラック) and 레드(レッド) and examined how they are actually used in Google in light of the meaning of the web dictionaries of Korea and Japan. Theresults are as follows: First, the number of 블랙(ブラック) and 레드(レッド) borrowed wordsregistered in the web dictionary was 블랙71, 레드35, ブラック46 and レッド20. Second, the most commonly borrowed vocabulary words in both Korean and Japanese were loanwords of the sameform. However, some loanwords (e.g., red zones,) were identical but partially matched in meaning(e.g., black hole) or were completely different. Third, 블랙(ブラック) and 레드(レッド) loanwords, which appeared in common in Korea and Japan, topped the Google search list. Fourth, in the case of 블랙 and ブラック loanwords, the meaning of web dictionaries and Google-related search themes often matched. Finally, in the case of 레드 borrowed words in Korean, the actual usage of Google was somewhat different from the meaning listed in the web dictionary. On the other hand, it wasfound that Japanese レッド loan words were relatively based on the meaning in web dictionaries. Above, we examined various loanwords based on 블랙(ブラック) and 레드(レッド) vocabulary. In thefuture, I plan to expand the research scope to examine the use of other color loanwords and understand the overall language environment in which color loanwords are used in both Japanand South Korea.

本稿では、블랙(ブラック)と레드(レッド)借用語に焦点を置き、グーグルで実際にどのように使われているかを両国のウェブ辞書の意味内容に照らし、考察した。その結果は次のようである。第一に、ウェブ辞書に登録された블랙(ブラック)と레드(レッド)借用語の数は、블랙71語、레드35語、ブラック46語、レッド20語だった。第二に、韓日両言語で共通して借用された語彙のうち、ほとんどは同形同義の借用語であった。しかし、同形であるが、意味内容が一部分一致(ブラックホールなど)したり、全く異なる借用語(レッドゾーンなど)も確認された。第三に、韓国と日本で共通して現れた블랙(ブラック)と레드(レッド)借用語の多数がグーグル検索数において上位を占めた。第四に、블랙とブラックの借用語の場合、ウェブ辞書の意味内容とグーグル関連検索テーマが一致する場合が多かった。最後に、韓国語の레드借用語の場合、グーグルで検索される実際の使用様相とウェブ辞書上の意味内容とは多少異なっていた。一方、日本語のレッド借用語は、比較的にウェブ辞書の意味内容に基づいていることがわかった。以上、블랙(ブラック)と레드(レッド)語彙に基づいた多様な借用語を考察した。今後、その他の色彩借用語の使用様相についても研究範囲を広げ、日韓両国の色彩借用語が使われる言語環境全般を理解していきたいと思う。
