본 연구는 아트-스토리텔링 협동 활동에 참여한 청소년들의 자기표현 능력과 자아존중감에 미치는 영향을 조사함으로써, 현대 사회에서 청소년의 정체성 발달과 정서적 건강을 지원하는 교육적 접근의 효과를 살펴보았다. 연구는 양적연구 및 질적연구 방법을 활용한 혼합연구로 진행되었으며, 자료수집 과정에서 적절한 연구윤리를 수행하였다. 양적연구 결과, 아트-스토리텔링 협동 활동은 청소년의 자기표현 능력과 자아존중감을 모두 향상시키는 데 유의미한 효과를 보였다. 질적연구 결과에서는 참여 청소년들이 협동을 통한 창의적 자기표현과 타인과의 긍정적 상호작용 과정에서 자신감과 자아존중감이 증진되었음을 알 수 있었다. 종합적으로 연구참여자들은 협동 활동 전후로 자기표현 능력과 자아존중감의 유의미한 향상을 경험하였다. 본 연구는 청소년을 대상으로 한 교육 프로그램에서 아트-스토리텔링 협동 활동이 자기표현 촉진 및 정서적 안정에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 시사하며, 향후 이러한 프로그램의 확대 적용과 체계적인 연구가 필요함을 제안하였다.
