This study aims to find out the color names in Korean that correspond to Japanese color names.　When color information is expressed as a language, it is most often expressed by the name of the color.　The purpose of this study is to investigate the problems of color names used in the process of transmitting Japanese color names to Koreans.

The Japanese JIS code color names 147 unique language names and 122 foreign language names as the vocabulary subject to the basic study. The Korean color names corresponding to these color names were investigated and analyzed.　For color name information in Korean, we used NAVER dictionaries and DAUM dictionaries, which are Web dictionaries. As a result of examining and analyzing the information in these Web dictionaries, many vocabulary words were provided in both dictionaries that correspond to the color name of the Japanese JIScode in relatively common expressions.

On the other hand, both NAVER and DAUM dictionaries can identify color names that do not provide any information about the color names of JIS codes in Japan. A foundation for building information on vocabulary that does not have Korean color name information corresponding to the color name of the JIS code in Japan should be established. Based on the list of color names constructed in this study, we could build information on color names that were not in the dictionary and explore the accompanying problems.

本研究は、日本語色名に対応する韓国語色名を調べて色名データを構築することを目的とする。色の情報を言語として伝える場合は、その色の名前で表現する時が最も多い。本稿では日本語の色名を韓国語に伝える過程で対応する色名を調査し、問題点として現れる様相と特徴を分析した。

日本JISコードの固有語系147個と外来語系122個の色名を基本研究対象語彙に選定し、これらの色名に対応する韓国語の色名を調査分析した。対応する韓国語の色名情報の調査は便利に活用されるウェブ辞書であるNAVER辞書とDAUM辞書を利用した。これらのウェブ辞書の情報を調べて分析した結果、両辞書で日本JISコードの色名に対応する韓国語の色名が比較的共通の表現で提供されている語彙が多い。一方、NAVER辞書とDAUM辞書ともに日本JISコードの色名のうち何の情報も提供しない色名も多数確認できる。日本JISコードの色名に対応する韓国語情報のない色名は、韓国の色名関連辞書でマンセル記号を活用して調査し、対応する色名を確認した。また、日本JISコードの色名に対応する情報が全くない色名は、近接したマンセル記号を見つけて推論できる色名情報を提案した。特に情報のない外来語系色名は、英文色名で対応する韓国語の色名を調べてデータ化した。本研究により、日本語の色名に対応する韓国語の色名データ資料を構築し、その過程で問題点などを見つけることができた。

日本JISコードの色名に対応する韓国語の色名情報がない語彙については、情報構築の基盤が設けられなければならないだろう。
