This study examines the transformative role of artificial intelligence (AI) in the translation industry, with a particular focus on the integration of calligrams and transculturation. Calligrams, which blend visual and linguistic elements to convey complex meanings, and transculturation, the process of cultural interaction and the creation of new cultural forms, are becoming increasingly important in a globalized society. AI is poised to revolutionize the translation industry by enhancing not only linguistic accuracy but also the ability to capture cultural nuances, enabling multimodal translation that integrates diverse cultural elements. The research identifies critical areas for development, including AI-driven cultural translation tools, the expansion of calligram research across different cultures, and the integration of AI in translation education. By addressing these areas, the study underscores AI's potential to advance the translation industry and facilitate deeper intercultural communication.
