    Ugaz (U. of Sussex, UK) and Price (U. of East Anglia, UK) join 17 other economists to present ten articles on the impact of utility privatization, mainly in Latin America. The studies are divided between those that provide an overview and country case studies these are for the UK, Spain, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, and Peru. Two articles consider the issues of consumer participation and access to utilities by the poor, both in Latin America. The contributors are economists at universities and public institutions for the countries under consideration as well as in the US. This volume was produced in association with the United Nations U.
