    Understanding, for each country, where its inbound tourism is generated is essential for analysing international tourism flows and devising marketing strategies, such as those related to the positioning of national markets abroad. Deriving from the most comprehensive statistical database available on the tourism sector, the Yearbook of Tourism Statistics focuses on data related to inbound tourism (total arrivals and overnight stays), broken down by country of origin. The 2014 Edition presents data for 197 countries from 2008 to 2012, with methodological notes in English, French and Spanish. Comprender donde se genera el turismo que cada uno recibe es esencial para analizar los flujos de turismo internacional y disenar estrategias de marketing, tales como las relacionadas con el posicionamiento de los mercados nacionales en el extranjero. El Anuario de estadisticas de turismo se centra en los datos relacionados con el turismo receptor (total de llegadas y pernoctaciones), desglosados por pais de origen. En la edicion de 2014, se ofrece informacion estadistica sobre el turismo en 197 paises y territorios de todo el mundo en el periodo 2008 2012. Il est essentiel de connaitre les sources de son tourisme recepteur pour analyser les flux de touristes internationaux et concevoir des strategies de marketing, telles que celles qui ont trait au positionnement des marches nationaux a l etranger. L' Annuaire des statistiques du tourisme se concentre sur les donnees relatives au tourisme recepteur (total des arrivees et des nuitees), ventilees par pays d origine. L'edition 2014 fournit des informations statistiques sur le tourisme dans 197 pays et territoires du monde entier pour la periode 2008 2012.
