The purpose of this study is to investigate the modulating effect of the work-family conflict on that QWL(Quality of Working Life) of the workers on sales-service department in auto industry affects in organizational commitment.
This study uses self-writing question. The question item about QWL, organizational commitment and work-family conflict indicates as Five-point Likert Scale. The question included demographics composed with the total 44 question items. Total 509 questionaries work on Hyundai Motor Company in auto industry. The method for the analysis used here are frequent analysis, reliability test, factor analysis, t-test, multi-regression analysis, ANOVA, data were analyzed using the statical package for social analysis(SPSS WIN12.0).
The result of this study can be summarized as follows.
This study assumed the hypothesis I that QWL(personal, organizational, management dimension) positively affects on organizational commitment. This study proved that QWL of personal dimension and management dimension positively affects on organizational commitment. Organizational commitment is defined that the workers feel a strong affiliation feeling for organization and continuously to work on their organization. The personal dimension means educational discipline, job-plan, and a career development.
The organizational dimension means wages, promotion, meterial welfare, and work environment etc. Through the improvement of QWL of personal dimension and organizational dimension, the organizational result will be raised.
Secondly, This study assumed hypothesis II that the work-family conflict moderates the effect of QWL of organization commitment. The hypothesis II was vertified.
This study teach to improve a satisfaction of work life and to prepare efficient human management.
Namely, the enterprise have to introduce "Family Friendly Management" for the worker's harmony of work and family. There was several limits in this study. It was presented to help researchers perform better studies in the future.
Firstly, This study objects have a represtative limit as the specific company in the auto industry. In future, It's necessary that the study investigate about the whole work group object in the auto industry workers.
Secondly, This study has limit of being operated only business position in sales, repairation, and management not every business position in auto industry.
Thirdly, The factor, work-family conflict, will be researched not modulation variable but independence variable.
Lastly, During researching this study, my personal emotion is as follows. It's obsolute that the organized members have to be stabilized condition in their life for the development of organization.
