The purpose of this study is based on the recognitive apprenticeship for improve the educatee's speaking skill.
We measured the actual conditions of the speaking lessons in recent highschool and raise the question in needs of using the recognitive apprenticeship model to analyze the results. Meanwhile, the recognitive apprenticeship model which using step by step is provided by the fact of speaking lesson in the field of highschool Korean.
Firstly, we researched on the actual condition of the speaking education in school. As a result, we have learned it is necessary for the educator needs an efficient schoolwork material and the way of teaching properly. Especially, students need a practical methods of education and the documents which is not to losing their interested from the Korean lesson. It is suggested that we should use recognitive apprenticeship in order to solve this problem.
The recognitive apprenticeship assumed that the educatee which are taking a leading role of their study, have learned a strategy related in knowledge from their educator's guidance.
There are 6 steps in recognitive apprenticeship. Firstly, 'Modeling' is notifying the specialized knowledge which is educatee make process model. Second step is 'Coaching' and 'Scaffolding'. They are helpful to approach the results of an execution through the hints or advice during the class. Third step is a 'Definite expression'. It is a step to expressing their thinking from the definite expression and class activity through the question which is related in educatee's knowledge, thinking, or solution process. At this time, educator is taking a role as an assistant and a expre. Fourth step is 'Reflect thinking'. This is the way of is 'Reflect solution abilities which is compared with the educatee's documents. Last step is "Research". It is the step for method of improving the class activities and achieve the self-development in speaking lessons.
Consequently, this study is about recognitive apprenticeship to utilizing the methods of teaching in Korean speaking. From this studies, educator is taking a role as an advisor and assistant who has to be the specialist. Educatee is improving his speaking ability to acquire the knowledge and skills through the education specialist and it is also intended to foster a self-centered mind for learning speaking.
