The record of Korea's land register during Japanese Imperialism period has faults in civil convenience. This study aims at suggesting how to remedy a civil grievance due to the dual registration of Land and Forest during those period.
This report introduces inconveniences that citizens are undergoing because of the problems due to the separated land registration as a part of The Investigation Project of Land and Forest, based on the data of Gimhae city's popular complaints when the government issues land register, cadastral and permission to citizens.
For settling those drawbacks, this study indicates the solutions; a preparation of administrational guide for inspection and issue of KLIS, a positive operation of the conversion by authority, an operation of conversion before division, an omission of application for permission to change in cooperation with the relevant government ministries, a preparation of administrational guide about area when people apply for permission.
The best solution for these problems is renovation of cadastral. But it is premature to carry out. What we can do in the near future for this, as a best means of settling these problems, is aiming at conversion by authority and operation of conversion before division. It will be settle citizens inconvenience by integrating the record of land register.
