Demand of industrial lots and housing lots increase by industrial progress and population growth. For country's efficient and equal advance, we must develop not only geo-technically fine ground but also soft ground. But soft ground has complicated engineering character, small strength and huge deformation like settlement, if it is very deep. So we need to exactly analyze engineering character of soft ground, prepare soft ground improvement method.
In this paper compared hyperbolic method with field data on average error and analyzed the behavior of consolidation by MIDAS GTS.
Hyperbolic method has faster forecasting possible time of final settlement in degree of consolidation of 70% with an average error ± 2%. Therefore, Hyperbolic method is accurate in this area. The settlement of MIDAS GTS is bigger than field data.
