The algorithm which can automatically discriminate the flight mission using the flight mission data is developed in this study. The basic statistics, the analysis method of multivariate data, the method of pattern recognition and concept of neural network for treating and separating a characteristics of the flight mission data recorded by the fortyfive(45) flight parameter are used. But, because the developed algorithm is low the accuracy of classification, the new method shall be found and is defined the Jcharacteristic point (Jong-soon Characteristic point) from grapping the merits and demerits and analyzing the concept of the previous theories. As inducing the Jcharacteristic point, a difficult problem for the pattern recognition of the flight mission data existing on the hyper plane was simplified to the parameter space which can use the multiple regression method. Also, the theorem of J-characteristic point is presented and the automatic pattern recognition program (MISS-A) is developed which can recognize the flight mission using the discriminant equations composed of the optimum coefficient calculated from the combination. The MISS-A from accomplishing in this study is using the force management program of T-50 aircraft and as showing a very good results.
