This paper studies the composite materials design method of the unmanned underwater vehicle(UUV). In the previous other studies, most of research the tend to design the unmanned underwater vehicle which was made of composite materials. So, many studies are considered the structural properties but this paper tends to focus on the design of composite materials. Mechanical properties of composite materials are not to be determined such as metals, polymers and ceramics because the properties of composite materials changes according to resin contents, kind of fiber, manufacturing process and so on. This paper focuses on the composite materials design for the hull of unmanned underwater vehicle's shell.
