The process of rapid industrialization and the pursuit of economic development without regard for the natural environment has now lead to the exploitation and depletion of natural resourcesm and the destruction of surrounding ecosystems. Furthermorem reduction in fishery resources has intensified due to reckless exploitation and overfishing in coastal waters.
A plan for rehabilitating areas affected by such phenomena through placing natural boulders with concrete artistical reefs would help to promote the regeneration of underwater plants and aquatic life. Further to placing natural boulders against concrete structures, there are many lpaces where general construction and modelling materials similar to ladscape gardening can be used. Through this study's evaluation of the placing of boulders against part of concrete structures in regeneration areas, we can understand the way in which the boulders adhere to the concrete structures.
