Youth is another stage of life after the childhood and the conduct of the youth and their every activity can be identified through their education that was given and taught in their childhood age. The establishment of a framework for a kindergarten curriculum by the Ministry of Education is a significant milestone for every country. A quality of kindergarten education can build a qualified and good character youth who can change the shape of the world for tomorrow.
The early years have a crucial influence on later development and learning. Quality early experiences have been found to make a difference to the future achievements of youth.
The main purpose of this study is to render the alternatives, processes, tools, a variety of different teaching materials and equipments for children, qualifications of teachers, sets of data, systems of kindergartens, extra activities or the like used in the current kindergarten. And the other purpose is to study and analyze the scheme of kindergarten education curriculum, and evaluating the quality of education in Korea and Nepal. Compared to the remarkable expansion of kindergarten facilities in Korea, kindergarten facilities in Nepal are at a standstill.
The Current State of Kindergartens of Nepal and Korea is a document of vague data on the state of kindergartens in Korea and Nepal. The data are collected through the internet source. Although there is considerable overlap in the investigated items between this document and Annual Statistics on Education, several specific items are added, such as ongoing activities and current state of full day kindergartens.
The investigated items include: 1) Overall state of kindergartens, 2) current state of kindergartens, 3) the history of kindergarten and its curricula, 4) the number of kindergartens by the number of enrolled children, 5) the number of children by age, 6) the number of kindergartens by regions, 7) the number of kindergartens by the types of establishment, 8) the number of kindergartens by the region and the types of establishment, 9) the number of teachers by levels of license, 10) the number of teachers by qualifications and experience. In addition, information on childhood education and full day kindergartens is included according to their need.
Korean kindergarten is much more highly advanced than that in Nepal and it has a very short history but the government has enormous responsibilities for all those growing children who can change the whole shape of tomorrow.
