The aim of this thesis is to prove the scheme of an administrative improvement for the Korean presbyterian church for the sake of the pastoral work, recovering the real nature of God's church, regulating and rearing church in a correct way by presenting the administration of church, spoken in the bible, in a right way.
Furthermore, I eagerly wish that the administration of church to accomplish the purpose and nature of church and to properly cope with the environment of the church, confronted by an alteration in 21 century, building up healthy churches, could be more effectively executed.
The pastor could effectively impact the revival and work of church, according to what he aims at realization for the nature of church and how he administrates and controls its organization. The church, not only as a body, organized inter-dependant elements, but also as an organization could need a proper administration for an effective work. What is the administration of church? It is to reflect the nature of church and to accomplish the aim of church. For the sake of that, the church should utilize the spiritual, human, material, and financial resources at its maximum.
The pastor as an administrator, in accordance to the biblical administration, should develop a human resource and post a well educated person in all field. And he should actualize the mission work, which the church targets, by making a needy resource. At a pastoral field in church, he should likely lead the purpose, vision and growth of church by rightly accomplishing the administration of organization, people and finance.
However, the administration of our korean presbyterian churches, apart from some big and leading churches, has not been actually get out of mostly the first steps. In a pastoral field, on account of the priority over the spiritual and pastoral paradigm, there could be some pastors, thinking of church administration as an official management, taking no account of church administration because of an misunderstanding that the administration might be likely secular, holding themselves aloof from the church administration, and making a wall in the pastoral administration.
Nevertheless, it is very true that many pastors without their own recognition, have been deeply engaged in the church administration and they have been actually participated in it by practically analyzing their pastoral affairs. Owing to this reason, in this thesis I have demonstrated that how the administration of the korean presbyterian church could get accomplished, what kind of problem there could be, and what kind of scheme for improvement there could be.
