Aids to navigation(AtoN) remote management system ensures the safety of the shipping by installing a lighthouse on the ocean, and buoy which is a remotely controlled monitoring system that checks the power status, blinking of lamps. This remotely controlled management system is applied in various sectors of industry, environment, and security-crime prevention. Remote network configuration in between the control center, and the installations in distant, remote places is essential.
The latest technology meets the demands of data transfer speed, coverage, numbers of users, etc. The software has been developed that can be applicable in various environments, and can be communicated without interruption which is utilized in industries. This type of Aids to navigation facility can be utilized as a remote managed system in marine areas, and one type of technology is called M2M Zigbee Network.
To control the Aids to navigation(AtoN), the AtoN must be connected by the communication network. Local Network is configured to provide connectivity in between AtoNs, and the configuration is achieved by connecting network to the backbone network.
