This study collected 133 small and mid-sized hospital nurses in one area to investigate the effect on turnover intention, and collected 24 items of job stress tool, 12 items of grit tool, and 4 items of turnover intention tool.The results of statistical analysis using the R version 3.4.0 program are as follows.
The results of this study were as follows,
First, the average of job stress, grit, and turnover intention of small and medium hospitals nurses showed 2.92 points for job stress, 3.04 points for grit, and 3.14 points for turnover intention.
Second, through the independent sample t-test and one-way ANOVA, the differences of job stress, grit, and turnover intention according to the general characteristics of the subjects were analyzed. The current work experience and turnover intention showed a statistically significant difference between work department and job satisfaction.
Third, the results of Pearson's Correlation Analysis of subjects' job stress, grit, and turnover intention showed positive correlation between job stress and turnover intention, and negative correlation between grit and turnover intention.
Fourth, when looking at the effects of job stress and grit on turnover intention through multiple regression analysis, job stress and grit showed 30.3% explanatory power in turnover intention.
The results of study, it was found that the grit of nurses working in small and medium hospitals was related to job stress and turnover intention.
