Companion relations are the beginning of social development and have an important influence on the formation of interpersonal relationships. Conflicts of students in the process of forming companionships are inevitable, and they experience quarrels in them. In such an environment, it is difficult to find a precedent to observe one's own heart through the Buddha's teaching and meditative guidance on good friends, and to cultivate compassion and restore companionship. However, if meditation instruction can be continuously provided in school, students' minds can be freed from conflict and transformed into positive companionship.
This study examines previous studies related to Kalyanamitta that appeared in early Buddhist literature and studies that improved companionship through meditation. I reviewed Buddhist literature for use.
It is a literature study that examines the meaning and usage of Kalyanamitta in the literature, and proposes applying the wisdom of the past to the modern school situation. To make friends, suggest ways to restore companionship. As a plan, we propose Insight Meditation(Vipassana), in which students know the qualities of good friends and recognize their own heart, and Loyalty Meditation, which fosters compassion for themselves and others. First, we analyze the teachings of Kalyanamitta in the early Buddhist literatures of the time when the Buddha survived and the Buddhist literatures of the upper seats, and discuss how the Buddha's teachings influenced anger and quarrels among monks at that time. In the scriptures, we find out how to practice the Buddha's sermons, recognize conflicts and quarrels with the merit of meditation, and find out the use cases and roles of maintaining Kalyanamitta. Particularly in'Kossambi Bhikkhus and Kalyanamitta', we look at examples of quarrels inevitable in the lives of humans at that time and now. Explain how to notice and replace it with a meditation technique that fosters compassion in the spot. Then, by applying the wisdom of the past to the contemporary school situation, it looks at how to cultivate the power to control the reaction by observing one's own mind through insight meditation and recognizing emotions. In addition, through the application of loving-kindness meditation, students radiate love to themselves and their neighbors to study ways to reduce conflict and anxiety in the heart and lead to recovery of relationships. It is expected that the Buddha's teachings and meditation method suggestions for making good friends based on this wisdom in the school site by re-examining the meaning of Kalyanamitta, which the Buddha used in the past, will help improve fellowship.
