In the last 30 years, Korean submarine units have developed rapidly. In addition, the submarine power of neighboring countries is continuously developing. In particular, the development of China is remarkable. Since 2000, the power of China's strategic and tactical nuclear-powered submarines has been continuously increasing. China, which faces us over the west sea, is an object of cooperation and exchange with us in many fields such as military, economy, culture, and politics. Considering this situation, research on Chinese submarines has a special meaning for us.
This paper presents an overview of the Chinese state and the People's Liberation Army (military and naval organization/status, military rank system and service system), analysis of maritime threats in neighboring countries of China (marine threats in neighboring countries, implications for China), power development trend and power analysis for Chinese submarines (It consists of three parts, including the contents of the status of Chinese submarines, the status of units, and power analysis.) Finally, the purpose of this study is to "deduce lessons to help the Korean navy" through the above-mentioned research (finding the current status of Chinese submarine power). In order to facilitate understanding during the study, the overview of the Chinese state and the People's Liberation Army was first explained, and then implications were derived based on the maritime threats of neighboring countries. Based on this, the power development trend and power analysis of Chinese submarines were conducted.
For reference, I have cited a number of materials such as various information, other papers, and academic journals that can be accessed through the Internet when organizing data related to the Chinese Navy and submarines. In addition, a number of newly reorganized materials have been reorganized and synthesized for easy understanding.
