This study that we investigate whether workers who are engaged in emotional labor in the public sector are justly treated or not is aimed at finding an alternative how we do if the workers are not protected, the analysis revealed that emotional labor in public sector workers negatively affect the in the performance of their duty, and confirmed that the overall awareness and support of this labor in the public sector was very low.
It was also found that the new public management theory and conservative character in the public sector have an influence on the emotional labor protection system.
In this study we verified the effectiveness of the emotional labor protection system in the public sector and proposed an alternative plan what apply to workers providing public service like strengthened legal obligations, relieved occupational stress, psychological therapy, training, reward, etc.
It suggests that there is a need to improve the working environment by creating an organizational culture in which the emotional labor protection system can apply in the field.
