This study defines the conceptual connotation and extension of the integrated arts curriculum, as well as the positioning of a series of related concepts. A clear understanding of the interconnectedness between the various artistic categories. On the basis of summarizing and drawing lessons from the successful experience of relevant integrated arts education courses at China and abroad, and based on the relevant theories of pedagogy, this paper sets up integrated arts courses for universities of China, including course content, nature, objectives, setting of credit hours, content proportion of each art category, teaching methods, assessment and evaluation.
The main methods of this study include literature research, expert interview and Delphi method. Firstly, the literature research method is used to understand the education status of general art courses in universities of China and abroad, compare the research status of integrated arts courses in China and abroad, and learn the relevant theoretical basis and construction methods of course content construction. Secondly, the problems existing in the construction of the current curriculum system, including course content, class hours, teaching methods, course objectives, teachers, evaluation and other aspects, are discussed through the expert interview method and solutions are sought. Finally, the Delphi method is adopted to determine the construction of integrated arts course content system in universities of China through a round of expert opinion solicitation, information exchange, feedback and modification.
This study finally determined that the class hours of integrated arts courses in universities of China are 36 class hours, and the specific content plan of 11 weeks is designed. The contents involved are as follows: music art, architecture art, sculpture art, painting art, calligraphy art, dance art, drama art, folk art, film art, literature art, stage art, character modeling and so on.
