Nowadays the food is distinctly attractive for the tourist. The value of the Korean ethnic food as the tourist attraction is increasing more and more because of the rising interest in the health. And the ethnic food using special product of the region promote the sales of the regional specialty and satisfy the needs of the tourist.
So this study propose the tourism product development plan of the ethnic food as follows.
First, the development and the practically use of the event and the folk festival which have the main subject of the ethnic food.
Second, the development of the tourism product for the gourmets which have the concept of health.
Third, the activating of the medicinal herbs market.
Forth, the encouragement of the continuous study on the ethnic food of the certain region.
