This study is a comparative research on the attraction factors of the marine tourism for the east coast and the western coast. The purpose of this study is to identify the development potentials of the national marine tourism resources by comparatively analyzing the attraction factors of the east coast and the western coastas well as by substantially evaluating the attraction elements of the marine tourism.
The potential measures identified through this study are (1) development of activity-type marine tourism, (2) development of social, cultural, and educational marine tourism, (3) development of tourism infrastructure for synergy, and (4) development of environmental marine tourism through successful implementation of the infrastructure
