The purpose of this study is to verify main effects of the number of household assigned to each official worker and the size of centrality on frequency of contacts and interactions between them. For analysis, the questionnaire survey designed to understand the characteristics of links between health care service providing organizations was conducted on all official workers of Gunsan city in charge of social welfare in April 2004, and then the data was utilized. The two way ANOVA was carried out with dependent variables of the number of contacts with other organizations in relation with jobs for the last 6 months, and independent variables of the number of household assigned to each worker and the size of centrality obtained from the social network analysis. Consequently, there was difference in frequency of contacts according to the number of household assigned to each worker and the size of centrality in the entire network. It was indicated that the number of household assigned to each worker and the size of centrality has interactive effects on frequency of contacts. In order to activate contacts between official workers in charge of social welfare based on there research results, this paper suggested the followings: first, the structure of network connecting all official workers in charge of social welfare should be constructed more completely so that there is no one isolated from the network: and second, the working environment capable of providing broader service by enabling official workers in charge of social welfare to develop the resources within community for clients with various needs and connect to them.
