It is necessary that regional language as a subject to educate should be flexible. It is because learners expand range of their regional language according to grow up. Therefore, regional language as a subject to educate corresponds to ‘a language of a village’ in a narrow point of view and ‘a dialect’ to a large extent.Teaching regional language is preferable to be conducted in parallel with teaching using and understanding standard language. This way, teaching regional language could encourage students not only to know and use their regional language but also to understand their regional culture and history and consequently they can establish their identity as dwellers of the region.Teaching regional language should improve knowledge of regional language systematically as well as develop regional language use ability. Texts for developing regional language use ability need to be organized to acquire regional language and consist with materials students are always facing. To improve knowledge of regional language systematically, it is important that students are able to study through texts including knowledge of phonemes, vocabulary, grammar, discourse, change of regional language, and the importance of regional language.
