본 연구의 목적은 초등특수학급에서 통합교육 경험이 있는 특수교사 9명을 대상으로 심층면담을 실시하여 특수교사의 직전교육에서 반드시 강조되어야 할 영역을 파악하여 예비 특수교사교육의 방향을 탐색하는데 있다. 통합교육을 위한 특수교사 직전교육에 대한 특수교사의 심층 면담 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특수교사 직전교육에서 협력방법 및 기술이 중요한 영역으로 언급되었으며, 둘째, 협력교수의 이론적 지식과 실행 방법, 셋째 수업설계 및 교과 지도, 넷째, 교수적 수정 및 개별화교육계획을 위한 일반교육과정의 지식, 다섯째, 교수계획을 위한 진단 및 평가 능력 여섯째, 일반학교(특수학급)에서의 교육실습, 마지막으로 인적자원 관리 능력이 필요하다고 제시하였다.The purpose of this study make a search for effective directions on the course of special pre-educators, including areas which should be emphasized on pre-education. this study was accomplished through in-depth interview with 9 special educators who have had lots of field experiences on the inclusive education in elementary schools.
Results of this study show as follows. First, It is very important for pre-educators to know how to cooperate with other teachers and how to acquire skills related to cooperation. Second, theoretical knowledge and executional methods of co-teaching. Third, concrete planning of instruction and instructive behavior method. Fourth, It is necessary to have lots of knowledge about general education curriculum in order to prepare for efficient IEP and substantial teaching-modification. Fifth, capabilities to evaluate and diagnosis disabilities in order to plan effective teaching model. Sixth, It is necessary to have opportunities of teaching practice in general elementary school(special class). Finally, It is also very important to be endowed with capabilities to superintend persons related to the inclusive education.
