This investigation is to look into the operation and effectiveness of the elderly-Child Interaction Program. For data collection, 200 questionnaires that have been collected from early childhood educational organizations are utilized for the study. For an in-depth qualitative analysis, E kindergarten in Busan is selected for video-taking, in-depth interviews, and for obtaining children's the analysis of word-association test. According to the findings, 50.5% of ECE organizations are offering an elderly-child interaction program, the better part of which are by support and recommendation of the regional office of education and other municipal organizations that, in most cases, subsidize the elderly for the program. As for the assessment of the operation, 78% of the programs receive a positive response from the participants. The effect of the program is found in a heightened respect for the elderly, friendly relationships, physical and spiritual health for both children and the elderly, and children's leaning of wisdom from the elderly. The children's word-association test shows a growing intimacy with the elderly as they recognize the elderly with whom they have to live. The promotional measures proposed by the directors of the program included coherent and continuous support and collaboration with the municipal organizations. Systematic training, and the willingness and understanding of the directors and the teachers, as well as on the part of the elderly, excellent communication skills and affection were all regarded quality as factors for running the program.
