The aim of this study was to investigate abilities for intake about 30 foods and to verify correlation of oral health-related quality of life. OHIP-14 survey was used to indentify oral health status and 200 subjects were involved in this study.
1. Food intake index was decreased as DMFT index increased. Intake index of women was higher than men in 10's and 30's, while men was higher than women in 20's. And intake index was decreased as ages were increased in self-test.
3. Total food intake index was 4.82 and the smallest index was verified in dried cuttlefish 4.06. Hard foods showed lower index. Statistical significant was verified in dried cuttlefish strongly, while Kimchi and Korean bacons were not.
4. As a result of measurement correaltion between oral health status and OHIP-14, overall score of OHIP-14 as oral health level was moved "POOR" from "GOOD". The score in social disadvantage in "MEDIUM" became lower than "GOOD".
In this study, maticate abilities were estimated in 30 foods and correlation was verified according to oral environment. Moreover, oral health status was strongly correlated with quality of life using DMFT index and OHIP-14. Therefore, the prevention of oral disease could give to better life.
