As for the beginning of Grammatik as science what I would like to mention is two authors. One of them is Dionysius Thrax who has written ars grammatica. This text is not a grammatical treatise in strict sense of modern Linguistics because it does contain not only elementary information of Grammar but also general guidelines for reading of literature. The other is Tryphon who has published Περ? π?θων λ?ξεω?. What Tryphon tries to observe is problems of barbarismus in ancient Greek language. Therefore it is difficult to consider it to be a grammatical text in strict sense because it does not treat formalities of grammatical rules. In this paper I have argued that Varro’ De lingnua Latina is to be considered as the first linguistic text because Varro tries to formalize and to give systematizing of grammatical rules. The reason for the grammar-constitution was that there were a lot of problems of barbarismus and soloecismus in Latin language. In this case what is most difficult is how to solve problems of anomalia. Thus I have concentrated to answer for the question of on what ground Varro has constituted the Grammatik as a science. In sum, Varro considered phenomena of the anomaly as some essential feature of language (meaning) and separated names (signs) from things (meanings) to build morphological paradigm. On basis of this separation he treated the morphological phenomena (figura) which could be formalized by grammatical feature (materia). Exactly with this separation has begun the ars grammatica. In addition to this, what I would like to say is that analogia and anomalia are not exclusive to each other. They are in the complementary relationship because the first is the theory of morphology and the latter is the treatment of semantics.
