이 연구는 놀이를 통한 PREP가 경도정신지체아의 동시적?연속적 처리과정 관련 과제 실행과 단어읽기 능력에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위하여 경도정신지체아 3명을 대상으로 단일대상 연구방법 중 대상자간 중다기초선 설계법을 적용하여 총 20회기의 중재를 실시하였다. 이 연구에서 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 놀이를 통한 PREP를 경험함으로써 세 아동 모두 연속적 처리과정 관련 과제 실행능력이 향상되었다. 둘째, 놀이를 통한 PREP를 경험함으로써 세 아동 모두 동시적 처리과정 관련 과제 실행능력이 향상되었다. 셋째, 놀이를 통한 PREP를 경험함으로써 세 아동 모두 단어읽기능력이 향상되었다.This research is aimed at looking into the effect of PERP through playing games on execution of the tasks related to simultaneous & successive dealing process of children with mild-level mental retardation & his/her ability to read words.
For this purpose, this research conducted a total of 20 mediation sessions by applying multiple-baseline design between study subjects among the single-object research methods for the three mild-level mental retardation children.
The study results from this research are as follows: first, the result showed that all the three children improved in their executive ability in the tasks related to continuous process by experiencing in PERP through playing games; second, it was found that all the three children improved in their executive ability in the tasks related to simultaneous process by experiencing in PERP through playing games, and third, it was found that all the three children improved in their ability to read words by experiencing PERP through playing games.
