Psychopathy’ is the name of a personality disorder which was first introduced in psychiatry field. It can be classified as ‘conduct
disorder’ in child and adolescent period, and antisocial personality disorder in adulthood in modern classification system. However
diagnostic criteria had been focusing only to criminal behaviors of subjects, then it was criticized that it missed original concept
of psychopathy. Clinicians often meet patients who are more closely resembled psychopathy than antisocial or narcissistic
'personality. Authors tried to explore the meaning of original concepts, developmental aspects, and neurobiological findings of psychopathy.
Then authors draw a novel and useful image of psychopathy by the spectral view between antisocial and narcissistic personality
disorder under influence of borderline personality organization. Though term ‘psychopathy’ is old but the clinical usefulness
can be still valid if we fully understand the various meanings of psychopathy.
