In the era of globalization that accelerates cultural exchanges across countries, understanding and respecting other cultures has become more important than ever. Accordingly, Korean society has been faced the radical change into multicultural society. in the multiracial/ethnic society, people's values and social policies need to be multicultural enough to accomodate new members and achieve social integration and unity out of diversity. But many immigrants who came from undeveloped country are discriminated by local residents. Most of them are foreign labors and brides. They are forced to adopt the Korean custom and suffered from implicit prejudice. Consequently, they are highly vulnerable to victim of crime. But last ten years, there have been lack of victim studies on immigrants. In order to improve quality and quantity of victim study, at first, it is necessary to correct bias toward foreign brides. Secondly, differentiated studies according to country and race are needed. Thirdly, it needs to compare the immigrant group with Korean control group. Fourth, we need to study the secondary victim of immigrants.
