The paper analyzes the relative importance of export policy guidelines and relevant supporting programs to provide basic information useful to decision- making on export support policies. Based on the survey of 107 exporting firms and 76 experts in agro-food export, the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) is employed (AHP) to derive the highest priority among the indicators and programs. With respect to policy indicator, the policy-effectiveness, implying possibility of achieving policy goal, is shown to be most important. Exporting firms put emphasis on i) controls for quality and safety in exporting agro-food and ii) management of sorting and merchandising. Meanwhile, experts in this field, place the highest value on the supporting program for overseas sales and marketing.
