본 연구는 특수교육 대상학생에게 제공되는 진로 및 직업교육에서 사회로 전환하는 실천적 진로 및 직업교육의 실행 방안을 모색하고자 한 연구이다. 전환교육 모형을 분석하여 변화되는 새로운 진로 및 직업교육에서 요구하는 실천적 활동을 탐색하였다. 진로 및 직업교육에서 요구하는 실천적 활동에 대한 적용성을 검토하여 진로 및 직업교육의 실천적 방안을 찾고자 하였다. 진로 및 직업교육 요구하는 실천적 활동으로 특수교육대상 학생이 주체성 형성을 통하여 주체적 사회생활을 할 수 있도록 하는 활동을 요구하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 위한 실천적 방안으로 직업교육과 진로상담 그리고 현장실습의 실시, 직업인식 및 직업의 선택 결정 그리고 사회참여의 과정의 실질적 진행, 지역적 네트워크를 활용한 환경적 지원, 학교 내의 환경적 지원, 체계적인 ITP 통한 종합적 지원 등을 얻을 수 있었다.The purpose of this study is to figure out practical measures for how to apply the career and vocational education of students from the special education to the society. By analyzing the existing transition education model, the study has searched for practical activities to meet the demands of today's newly changing transition education. The applicability of the practical activities to the curriculum which have been demanded in the field of transition education was reviewed while another applicability and appropricacy to the curriculum of 2010 were discussed. All those processes were for suggesting directions for the transition education reform. After the characteristics of the practical measure for the career and vocational education were looked into, counselling for choosing a career, carrying out of a work experience, improving the job awareness, guiding the students to a proper job choice as well as a social activity, providing an environmental support via a local network and at school, and a total support through a systematic ITP were came up as the practical measures which would make the students live an independent social life by allowing them to form a sense of independence inside themselves. How to form an independence inside the students, how to offer an effective environmental support and how to make the students realize an affluent life in a community were induced as problems for the practical measures.
