Usually one falls in love and therefore marries the other. Or if it is true that one loves someone and vice versa, love must be always consummated by marriage. But love and marriage respectively transmit two different sorts of message, and that is why complete unity of love and marriage is impossible to achieve. That is, the modern phenomenon of the connection of love and marriage creates the situation of double bind where we on the one hand receive the psychological and biological message of love and sexuality, and on the other hand the economical message of marriage. But nowadays we are in the process of gradual dissolution of the tripartite structure of love, sexuality, and marriage. Love ia based on the improbable assumption that two persons may gain the same experience, or have the same feeling, inhabit the same world. Despite of the obvious fact that two persons are never one person, love proclaims the possibiliy of oneness of two. It is in this aspect that love may assume the similitude of religion. Love is the only world for us where all the improbable things are transformed into the probable. In fact, love makes the closed world where the private ralationship takes too much responsibilities. Love as a cultural imperative makes frivolous feelings and short sexual empathy into the illusion of eternal happiness. However, when love fades, the absolute world constructed by love collapses too. Excessive emphasis on love necessarily reinforces the absoluteness of improbable and private worlds. But the very excessiveness disseminated by love mirrors another face of death.
