The purpose of this study is to investigate the attachment representations by MacArthur Story Stem Battery and the attachment behaviors by Attachment Q-set about Mothers by young children from multi-cultural families. Also, this study is to examine mother-child interaction from multi-cultural families based on the teacher interview. Results were that children in the secure group from multi-cultural families showed more positive representations of their mothers, oppositely, children in the insecure group showed more negative representations of their mothers. The attachment behaviors of two groups are significantly different. One of main results about characteristics of mother-child interaction from multi-cultural families was like this. Children from multi-cultural families were apt to anxious because they are expected high by their mothers that they would be dependent and autonomous than they could do.
