In the modern society, fashion has become an instrument to establish the sense of self-expression in lives of contemporary human beings
as a result of industrialization and mechanization, and at the same time it has evolved as one of the important types of arts. Fashion is the
mirror of the age in which we live and especially it is closely connected with expressing the internal images of human beings. The
purpose of this study is to analyze the influences that are reflected on the surrealistic characters by representative designers, Alexander
Mcqueen, Martin Margiela, and Comme des Garcons. This study deals with the interrelationship of surrealism centering on Alexander
Mcqueen, Martin Margiela, Comme des Garcons 2009 fashion shows which influenced surrealism and surrealism's character. In other
words, this study examines how surrealism affected their shows as the source of costumes and makeup, hair style and how it is accepted
and expressed in their fashion shows. To achieve this purpose, this study makes use of the analysis of Alexander Mcqueen, Martin
Margiela, Comme des Garcons 2009 fashion show photos. The surrealistic style will be led by various techniques and trends and
development through new characteristics in multi-culture merged with various fashion and makeup styles.
