It is considered that Electrolysis Water would affect the phenomena of hair bonds under certain condition in a minimum way. Therefore,
this study is to observe the possibility through a theoretical research. For the research, electrolysis and Electrolysis Water, bonds of hairs,
and permanent wave were examined to explain the chemical reaction as a mechanism that may occur when acid and alkaline electrolysis
waters are replaced by the 2nd solution of permanent wave. As a result, it was observed that the acid electrolysis water released from
positive pole containing Cl, O, H, etc. and the alkaline electrolysis water from negative pole containing H, pH property were partially
equivalent to the substances that are necessary for the bonds of hairs chemically or substances that may affect bond or separation. In
addition, the possibility of occurrence could be inferred through the theoretical research that acid electrolysis water could generate
hypochlorous acid(HOCl), hydrogen peroxide(H2O2), and ozone(O3) and the alkaline electrolysis water could generate H and thioldisulfide
exchange bondage. Thus, it was considered that if hydrogen peroxide which is being used as the main ingredient for the 2nd
solution of permanent wave which is the typical beauty technique to utilize the hair bond is replaced with electrolysis water, this will
affect on the minimum hair bond phenomena. Therefore, the alkaline electrolysis water and acid electrolysis water which was studied
through the theoretical research are expected to have minimal impact on hair bond phenomena. And by using this results, their
possibilities could be expected as potential substitutes of the 2nd solution or as composition for being used in the process of permanent
wave.
