In line with these objectives, an analysis was made of the data collected from the 305 users of 10 driving ranges located in D-Metropolis and K-Province. The followings show the results. First, it was found that driving range users’ immersion in exercise exerted positive influence on all the subitems of the item ‘exercise addiction.’ Second, the immersion in exercise, caused by participation in golf, was found to exert positive influence on the item ‘personal attainment.’ Third, exercise addiction, caused by participation in golf, exerted positive influence on ‘personal attainment’, a subitem of the item ‘exercise burnout’, but had negative influence upon the item ‘depersonalization.’ In addition, it was found that the addiction to the withdrawal syndrome exerted positive influence on ‘depersonalization’ and ‘emotional burnout’, the subitems of the item ‘exercise burnout.’ As aforesaid, in case driving range users’ immersion in golf influences exercise addiction, they may derive sound and desirable sports activities. In case the immersion in golf brings about negative results such as the withdrawal syndrome, depersonalization and emotional burnout may occur and as a result the quality of users’ lives may be deteriorated. In conclusion, it is urgent to map out programs in order that users may have positive burnouts related to personal attainment.
