This study conducted a convenient sampling method-based survey on the users of public swimming pools located in G-City and Y-City. The data, collected from 361 respondents, were used for the practical analysis.
With the collected data, this study made an exploratory factor analysis to verify the validity, a calculation of the Cronbach’s alpha value to verify the reliability, a frequency analysis, a correlation analysis and a multiple regression analysis, for which it used Statistical Package for the Social Sciences SPSS; version 15.0. The significance level was defined as where the alpha-value equaled 0.05. The followings show the results.
First, the behavioral patterns of users of public swimming pools were positively correlated with service quality, the user satisfaction level and repurchase intention.
Second, users who were friendly toward public swimming pools did not affect the user satisfaction level. Self-initiated and straightforward users affected the repurchase intention.
Third, it was found that the community contribution and employees’ service level exerted positive influence not only on the user satisfaction level but on the repurchase intention. Specifically, major facilities, programs, community contribution and employees’ service level may exert positive influence on the user satisfaction level, and besides, community contribution and trainers’ service level positively influence the repurchase intention.
