기업의 메세나(Mecenat) 활동을 포함하는 문화마케팅은 심화된 글로벌 경쟁 시장에서 기업의 가치차별화 전략 중의 하나로 최근 이슈가 되고 있다. 또한, 전통적인 스폰서십(sponsorship)기법을 통한 문화마케팅들이 기업의 사회적 책임(CSR) 활동의 일환으로 인식되고 있다. 국내 기업을 포함한 글로벌 기업들의 문화마케팅에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있는 시점에서 21세기 기업의 주요한 가치로 여겨지고 있는 CSR성과와의 영향 관계의 규명에 대한 연구가 필요한 시점이다. 글로벌화 되고 있는 시장 속에서 기업들은 문화마케팅활동에 있어 기존의 어떠한 글로벌 마케팅 전략을 구사하는 것이 기업의 CSR성과에 영향을 주는지 파악할 필요성이 있다. 이에 따라, 본 연구는 기업들의 메세나 활동으로 이루어지는 문화마케팅 요인들과 기존의 글로벌 마케팅 전략 요인들을 파악하고 CSR성과에 미치는 결과를 실증적으로 분석하고자 한다. 본 연구를 위해 메세나 활동을 수행하고 있는 국내 기업들의 마케팅 실무진 및 임원진을 대상으로 인터뷰와 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 그 중 총 86부의 설문지가 유효한 것으로 판단되어 본 연구에 활용하였다. 신뢰성 분석, 요인 분석, 구조 방정식 모델을 통하여 다음과 같은 연구 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 경영진의 인식도는 글로벌 표준화 지향성, 지역 특성화 지향성, 문화마케팅 비용, 문화마케팅 CSR 성과에 모두 정(+) 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 글로벌 표준화 지향성은 문화마케팅 비용에 정(+)의 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 지역특성화 지향성은 문화마케팅 비용과 CSR성과에 모두 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 마지막으로, 문화마케팅 비용은 CSR 성과에 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났다.In a competitive global market, arts & cultural marketing is getting the spotlight as one of value differentiation strategies and as well as one of CSR activities with corporate's sponsorship. It has be increased interest in cultural marketing between domestic and global companies.
This paper attempts to reveal the relationships between cultural marketing factors, global marketing strategies, cost of cultural marketing and CSR Performance. Our study analysed 86 cases from Korean and global companies which perform mécénat activities then developed a structural equation model. As a result of the model test, this empirical study found that leading management member's perception about arts & culture has a positively significant influence on global standardization strategy orientation,local diversification strategy orientation, cost of cultural marketing and CSR performance through cultural marketing. Second, there was a positive relation between the cost of cultural marketing and global standardization strategy orientation. Third, local diversification strategy orientation affects positively on cost of cultural marketing and CSR performance. Last and foremost, there was no relation between cost of cultural marketing and CSR performance.
