This paper examines the characteristics of scientists’ creativity in order to apply the history of science to the creativity education. For that purpose, this paper analyzed the developments and achievements of three most popular scientists such as Darwin, Edison, and Einstein who are familiar to students. Major findings as follows: Firstly, three scientists were creative because they made both original and important achievements. Secondly, they were not excellent students in their school days. Thirdly, they read various books from science to humanities. Fourthly, they strived to solve their own critical problems very persistently. Fifthly, they combined heterogeneous resources based on extensive vision.
