The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of perceived competence on emotion and life satisfaction of yoga. The subjects of this study consisted of 250 adult women who participates in yoga. The used instruments were the Kim(2001) for measuring perceived competence scale, the Yoo & Kim(2002) for measuring emotion scales, and the Lee(1992) and Kim(2007) for measuring life satisfaction scales. The data were analyzed by correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis as a statistical method. The result of this study were as follows. First, perceived competence positively influenced to emotion(fun, pride, vigor, catharsis, and achievement). Second, perceived competence positively influenced to life satisfaction. Third, in the subscale of emotion, pride positively influenced to life satisfaction, but achievement negatively influenced to life satisfaction.
