This study aims to develop New-Hanbok accessories worn by people in their 10-20s. To use Yooso in 『Akhakgwebeom (樂學軌範): Illustrated Text on Traditional Music』, i.e. Korean music records in early Joseon Dynasty as a motive for design and analyze Yooso knot in『Akhakgwebeom』, Joseon Dynasty Knots as relics were considered by referring to the precedent studies, ancient literature, and museum catalogues before deriving the characteristics of Yooso knot in 『Akhakgwebeom』, This study identified the characteristics of the composition of Yooso diagrams, classified knot diagrams by shape, and made an analysis by relating the knots used with present knotting methods. Based on the characteristics analyzed, New-Hanbok accessories were developed. As a result, it was found that Yooso in 『Akhakgwebeom』 is an ornamental knot characterized by having short tassels compared to the overall length. Each tassel is decorated at the end of two pieces of knot, and two-tiered tassel is also shown. There are no other decorations except the knot. Based on such characteristics, this study developed the accessories matching the New-Hanbok worn by young people in their 10-20s. As for accessory items, hair accessory binyeo(or hair pin), a brooch, a bracelet and earrings preferred by the younger generation were developed. As material used, rayon yarn and coated cotton yarn of 1-2mm in diameter was used. Design 1 is binyeo, a knotwork with two short tassels, inspired by Yooso in 『Akhakgwebeom』 as a motive for design. Design 2 is a brooch. It was designed to immobilize a coat string. Design 3 is knotted bracelet and characterized by Yooso in 『Akhakgwebeom』 with tassels. Design 4 is a pair of earrings, which was designed in small Yooso form. The study is meaningful because it was tried to develop a design that could be utilized to meet the current of the times through historical consideration, and that it can reveal the features of our country in an era when cultural specificity is fading.
