In this paper, the translation of the Korean version of Black Egg, the anti-war atomic bombing anthology of Sadako Kurihara, was studied in terms of foreignization and domestication strategies, specifically, on how to translate three words with the same meaning in the table of contents, and handle Japanese era names written in various ways. I also discussed how to solve the problems of translating the two anti-war poems, ‘what is war’ and ‘leaf gold coin from the fox’ into Korean. As a result, it turned out that the exact distinction between foreignization strategies and domestication strategies for each category was not easy . In general, idioms and metaphors tend to use domestication strategies, but it was not always the case for this study. However, understanding more about the contexts of the source language, it is thought that a variety of strategies can be used more widely.
