This study investigated the evaluation and perception of actual public health workers about the "Health Environment Color Index" which was developed under the premise that the color environment of public health facilities will affect the emotions, psychology and health of space users. The purpose of this is to examine the possibility of using and applying color of health and environment and to utilize it as empirical research results. The 'Health Environment Color Index' is composed of three contents. For the study, face-to-face survey was conducted twice in May and December 2019 on 100 employees who work at public health centers in Busan and Gyeongnam. 96 survey responses, excluding missing data, were analyzed and frequency analysis, cross-analysis, T-test, and ANOVA analysis were performed using the SPSS statistics package. The percentage of respondents who answered that environmental color affects healing was high. Public health employees believed that environmental color and health are highly relevant and they also responded that environmental color has an effect on health, especially in relation to psychological stability. In addition, they recognized that Y-series high brightness/high saturation colors had a curative effect and 'brightness' became the basis for the difference in perception. It was confirmed that the preference for applying the workplace environment of the Health Environment Color Indexes reflected personal color preferences.
