This research paper was based on a research study that developed a Bible education program for restoring and enhancing the self-esteem of college students through Bible education and implemented the program over two semesters. For the research, Bible education program was developed in 10 sessions, including Bible reading, Bible lectures, meditation on biblical verses such as Psalms, use of biblical fairy tales, assignment of learning tasks, and discussions, etc. The research study conducted Bible education programs to enhance self-esteem as part of five classes of Christianity in liberal arts at a university in the Seoul metropolitan area over two semesters: the second semester of 2019 and the first semester of 2020. The self-esteem measurement tool used the Rosenberg self-esteem measure, consisting of 10 questions of self-describing statements that measure self-worth and attitude toward oneself. The results of the research showed an improvement of 2.38 points in the group of 45 people in the second semester of 2019, from an average of 27.77 to 30.15 post-inspection, but were not statistically significant. In 2020, a group of 151 students conducted online classes under COVID-19, the average pre-examination of 72 people who submitted accurate pre-post-examination was 29.6, which improved 4.32 points and exceeded statistically significant levels. In addition to restoring students' self-esteem, the Bible education program to enhance their self-esteem has also contributed to the participants' interest in and intimacy with the Bible as a classic that contributes to understanding of and reflection on themselves.
