This study highlights the advantages of colored building integrated photovoltaics (BIPV)systems that can generate power and renovate obsolete public-school buildings. Multicolored BIPV systems were installed in two school buildings and monitored for a specific period to verify their power generation, and power generation data were analyzed together with the solar radiation data from that location. The results from this study can be used to contribute to the widespread adoption of BIPV systems in school buildings in the future.
